A trip in January 2017 to Hingol National Park in Balochistan, Pakistan, inspired the Hingol Textile Collection. From a small Hindu temple tucked away into the crevice of a cave, to the play of light and shadow in the majestic mountains along the Makran Coastal Highway, the colours, textures and atmosphere of Hingol fueled the choice of materials and symbols used in the swatches. Knitting, macramé, and weaving were paired with laser-cut wooden accents and beads to create pieces that emulated the aura of the landscape.
